Privacy Policy

EazyEdit is a Shopify application provided by Finnmart. This policy explains how EazyEdit collects, uses, stores, and discloses information when a merchant installs or uses the app.
Information we process
EazyEdit receives information from Shopify that is needed to install and operate the app. Depending on the features a merchant uses, this can include:
- Shop domain, installation details, granted permissions, and Shopify access credentials.
- Product, variant, inventory, publication, collection, location, and shipping-profile data that the merchant asks EazyEdit to read or update.
- Bulk-edit filters, task settings, schedules, CSV or feed mappings, job history, backup values, and error logs.
- Subscription status and plan information supplied through Shopify Billing.
- Support messages and contact information that a merchant chooses to provide.
EazyEdit does not require access to customer or order data and does not provide fulfillment services.
How we use information
We process information to authenticate stores, provide requested product and inventory operations, import and export data, run schedules, maintain edit history and backups, administer subscriptions, respond to support requests, protect the service, and comply with applicable law.
Sharing and service providers
We do not sell merchant data. Information can be processed by Shopify and by hosting, database, monitoring, or infrastructure providers only as needed to operate and secure EazyEdit. We can also disclose information when required by law or to protect legal rights.
Retention and deletion
We retain information only for as long as needed to provide the app, maintain security and backups, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. When an app is uninstalled, its Shopify access credentials are removed or invalidated. Valid privacy and deletion requests received through Shopify's mandatory compliance webhooks are verified and processed as required.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted transport, access controls, signed Shopify requests, and webhook signature verification. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your rights
Merchants can contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of information associated with their store, subject to applicable law. Shopify merchants can also submit privacy requests through Shopify.
Changes to this policy
We can update this policy when EazyEdit or applicable requirements change. The effective date above identifies the latest revision.
